The position of studio technician provides the foundation of a functioning studio. Applicants should have experience working in ceramics, running kilns, and organizing people and spaces. This position supports and runs alongside the Prescott College Pottery Club, working with its President. The studio technician creates a usable ceramics studio, whereas the Pottery Club President brings the community to the space. You are responsible for the maintenance of the studio, which includes general studio upkeep, mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, cleaning tools and equipment, firing kilns, scheduling studio time, purchasing items, and keeping an inventory and budget of studio materials. |
