Job Description

The primary focus of this position is to oversee and coordinate aspects of landscape watering, maintenance, and enhancement on the Prescott College campus, including but not limited to the portion of Butte Creek that now lies at the center of the Prescott College campus (from North Willow to Grove Avenue); other landscaping tasks around the Crossroads Center may be necessary. This position helps continue the work on the riparian restoration and enhancement projects started in the spring of 2012 as part of the Prescott College Butte Creek Master Plan. This work includes a list of specific responsibilities and tasks that will need to be completed on a regular basis. This position will also monitor and collect data on all the individual trees on campus that have been designated to honor people. Some literature and data management tasks will be assigned during the winter months. 

Job Requirements

A desire to work outside with plants and landscaping/restoration projects.

A working knowledge of drip irrigation systems (or desire to learn).

Responsability and reliability are essential.

Capacity to follow directions and to be independent.

Other skills in stream ecology, native plants, and riparian restoration are valuable.
