Students working as a Student Activites & Lounge Team Member supports the Student Engagement and Leadership Coordinator in facilitating engaging activities as part of the Student Activities Team for students on-campus. This position calls for physical and office tasks to make sure the Student Lounge and its associated activities function at full capacity. The Student Activities & Lounge Team Member is responsible for the accessibility, function, and flow of the student activities programming. Duties include but are not limited to: Creation, coordination and execution of student activities Office tasks necessary for up to date records and center cleanliness Assisting with technology Assisting with equipment Cleaning, transporting, and maintaining items and setting up equipment Organizing furniture and rooms.
Reporting to the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership, Student Activities Team Members may be asked to support with additional initiatives such as community strategizing efforts ranging from community partnership relations to food security matters. Student Activities Team Members are expected to close the Student Activities Center twice a week, and participate in a team-wide weekend rotation for closing the center on the weekends. |
