The Writing Center, a member of the Advising and Learning Commons, offers writing coaching as a free service available to all Prescott College students, designed to help students progress towards academic success. Peer writing tutors will: - Hold face-to-face and/or online conferences with undergraduate students to assist them with development, organization, voice, and mechanics in the context of a variety of writing tasks.
- Write a summary and assessment of each conference.
- Participate in an initial training session and ongoing check-ins with the Center's director.
Specific hours of employment and in-person or remote status will be determined on a case by case basis. |
